In order to saved $10,000 in 5 months………
$10k ÷ 5 months = $2k (need a month)
$2k ÷ 4 (weeks in a month, sometimes 5w) = $500.00 (you need to.put away $500 a week in order to be able to save $10k in 5 months.
So she would need to save $500.00 a week from each check in order to have $10k in 5 months.
(this doesn’t include the monthly bills, car payment, house payment etc…)
Now she might have a good job making good money so she might be able to do this, but since covid struck it’s been hard for a lot of people so they’re pretty much living check to check. Or maybe they’re able to save a little bit of money. But not $500 a week.
So like 99% of the people said, this "plan" is not a realistic one. And I agree.

Ummm it’s quite possible and not unrealistic at all actually…I work at Amazon & make 19.30 hourly with the ability to work 20hrs overtime weekly…if this person isn’t in debt and isn’t spending frivolously, saving 1k a month is very easy.
