Dominique, I know you have done many hair videos – and you make it look effortless – but I want to ask if you could do one for a curly haired girl who would like to wear her hair straight (or less curly) but not flat and has a terrible time getting it done. I have had this hair for almost 65 years now and get so bored because I always look the same and just don’t have your talent at styling hair. Help!

A few months ago I realized how much Walmart has upped their game. They have great clothes now. Often, you do have to order online for them.
It depends on the store as well. The store in the Heights (yes, Houston) carries different clothing than at the Silber location just outside the loop.
I love Sophia Vergara pajama sets at Walmart. I think they were originally $23 and worth every penny, but I got my first one in a leopard pattern for $17 and then went back a couple weeks later and found they were $10 and got black with red roses. Beautiful and sexy and just perfection for lounging around the house and wearing to bed. They had long pants and a camisole top.
I just got to see this today. Wow. You rock those outfits!! I tried to buy the jeans,the dress,and pant suit, and ALL were sold out!! You should get free shopping to Walmart because of you all those products were sold out! Sofia clothes are awesome!

A tip for those saying your Walmart clothes don’t wash well: it’s all about fabric. Look for jersey, cotton, linen, and sturdier pleather. Polyester and rayon are even okay in gauzy fabrics, like the purple dress Dominique modeled, but avoid them in T-shirts and more woven, thick items. Hope that helps!
I am 4’9", and have always loved fashion. My height dictated from an early age that I learn to sew. If sewing lessons are economically prohibitive for you, ask older relatives, friends Moms, or Grandmothers. Most of us (I’m 70) took economics classes in school, which taught us the basics of sewing/cooking. A few simple sewing techniques can go a long way in helping to create the dream wardrobe.

Fashion haul means over consuming. Influencers need to be held accountable for the over consumption and spending they promote. Our environment suffers along with our health and future generations. Billions of items are produced everyday and it has to go somewhere when it’s done. Everyone watching this has a full closet and plenty of shoes. Wear what you have . Create personal wealth instead of debt or never saving. No more influencers

My hesitation with some things these days is constantly wearing bucket loads of polyester and nylon. Its why clothes are so cheap. I am reducing such materials as i dont want to wear byproducts from the oil industry. I find polyester makes me sweat, too.

No to the hats, the pants velvet & satin have to go, bow tie is nice, dress is not flattering in color and that blazer is terrible, both blazers, those pants are too wide. Go for more fitted pants and different colors.

20 years ago Walmart used to have cute little clothes but they really went downhill.
