Good way to gauge inflation too

  2. I had a couch in my cart that was around $299. Prime day came and it went up to $320 on sale from $1000. No joke. Thought that was wild.

  3. Why does the graph look like an entire map damn

  4. Doesn’t work for me. Chrome extension pinned, refreshed page and browser, no dice…

  5. Solid!

  6. Should be illegal.

  12. @techtechnique4875 July 6, 2025 at 5:34 pm

  13. @Magister.of.the.pendulum July 6, 2025 at 5:35 pm

That’s how all retail works, sorry to disappoint you guys

  14. Bastards

  15. Everything is a scam now, shady business practices. Goodheart’s law everything is gunna go to shit soon

  16. @markpollutro2076 July 6, 2025 at 5:40 pm

    Should be illegal.

  17. @diazparker1430 July 6, 2025 at 5:40 pm

My man this happens at every store in america 😂 most of the time in store on like say blackfriday you can take the % sale stick off and its covering the regular price most of the time its the same.

  18. @HeyImGaminOverHere July 6, 2025 at 5:40 pm

Every damn speaker bar that I looked up was either jacked up in price a month before or in the case of actual Amazon products for LITERALLY 1 minute starting at 11:59PM the night before.

  19. @larryjanson4011 July 6, 2025 at 5:41 pm

that is a scam retailers have been doing for decades.

  20. *But, if we assume a product or two goes up in price every day of the 365, naturally it will seem as you say for some products…*

  21. Of course!😂

  22. @nicolewalsh6656 July 6, 2025 at 5:46 pm

Yeah they did this with their bed sheet sets. I knew I had bought them 2 separate times for 29.99. On prime day they were on sale for 21.99 but the list price was 79.99 making it look like an incredible deal when really you only save $8, not $58.

  23. Doesn’t work for Australia or NZ. Make sure you make people aware of these nuances before claiming it will help them see the history price charts. Downvoting as a result

  24. yes I think retail mostly has to have the higher price for at least 28 days prior and can legally reduce the price after. that "wonderful" discount price was there on day 3o tho" lol

  25. Is there an extension for the Amazon app?

  26. @EliaSinkolongo July 6, 2025 at 5:50 pm

    ❤❤

  27. @RenegadeShepTheSpacer July 6, 2025 at 5:51 pm

This is illegal in first world countries. I’m not surprised it happens in America.

  28. @darrenashley126 July 6, 2025 at 5:52 pm

I spent $1750 on Amazon and nothing turned up. Amazon refuses to return my emails let alone my money. NEVER AGAIN.

  29. Just buy what you need, buy what you want if you have money left.

Do not listen to the sellers, of course every deal is a trick. They are making money, they are not a philanthropy.

  30. Yep prime day is a scam … I noticed the same in prices in my list … they don’t fool me

  31. Amazon SUCKS!

  32. pls dont dissturb ads

  33. I’ve added the Keepa extension to Chrome and it’s active but I’m not getting the tracking up on any of the products I’m looking at 🤔

  34. dude, you save me so much time and hassle.

  35. Ind the EU this is super illegally

  36. This practice is technically illegal but it’s difficult to enforce

  37. @MrTubeman123456 July 6, 2025 at 6:04 pm

Please don’t buy anything from gen max or Amazon over 40 dollars no support at all total waste of money break easily Amazon is a 3rd party supplier I learnt my lesson no more 40 dollars and no more read bad reviews first they sell tons of cheap Chinese junk no support

  38. I thought this „price trick“ is forbidden since a few years on Amazon? And they still do it??!

  39. amazon hate this trick

  40. I thought that it was illegal though. Like Aldi supermarkets have just been fined by the courts for the same thing. I may be wrong about other countires however as im in the UK

  41. That’s like all sales . In general sales and discounts are for fools. Just buy it. Focus on making money in real estate or your job, way better time spent

  42. I was a seller on Amazon…and i can attest that Yes, it’s true. 😅we all do that to show the highest discount on prime day.

  43. @rajaryanigdncxhadk4090 July 6, 2025 at 6:13 pm

  44. @imataylorswiftandasmrfan July 6, 2025 at 6:14 pm

  45. recently wanted to buy the riddler year one comic, kindle edition was on sale for around $3-5 (normally $20). I decided to hold off for the night, and next day I checked back in. turns out it was prime day, so I went to see how much it was then, and it was "on prime day sale" for $16. like?? hello??

  46. @isaqsalawu1729 July 6, 2025 at 6:17 pm

    Not new.common sense.

  47. Damn.

  48. I have been using Keepa for a few years now, it’s great.

  49. Doin gods work

  50. @cheeseballs3825 July 6, 2025 at 6:23 pm
