A handed-down 3060 Ti was worse than my 2080 Ti (on 5800X3D) so I passed the newer card down to a relative. Resurgence is still 120 FPS using high settings at 1440P so I see no reason to upgrade yet. AMD will take advantage of Nvidia’s inability to produce enough stock so the prices will start out high and eventually settle down to take market share away from Ngreedia.

Test newer games in 4k, that will tell you why you need more than 12 and even more than 16 gb of vram

I just build my new pc it has a ryzen 5 5500 Gigabyte b450 mk mobo 16gb ram 550watt psu and a rx 6600 it gives very good performance in 1080p I am really happy with the build but do u think if I have gone with a 7600 instead of the 6600 will that be worth the extra money ?
Should I go for 3060ti if it is only $50 more expensive than the 6600xt? Both GPUs being sold are “used”. The option is Galax 3060ti and Sapphire Nitro+ 6600xt.
i recommend 7800xt or the later 9070xt as base point.

I got a brand new 7700xt for $340 because someone on Facebook marketplace forgot to return within the 14 day return window at best but when it wouldn’t fit his case.
Took a couple months to come across and some diligence but worth the time and effort

I’m working on building a PC for a friend trying PC gaming for the first time and they want to play some bigger open world RPGs like the witcher 3, skyrim, starfield, avowed, etc. I’m leaning toward a B570 but is there a better option for these types of games around that 250-300 dollar range?

I did my first build a few days ago with a 7800x3d and ripped my 3060 out my old prebuild until my 5080 came in and the 3060 was great, really didn’t NEED to replace it but I was upgrading everything. 3060 is a great card for quality gaming! I’m sure you can find them under $400! Happy deal hunting yall

You almost forgot to tell people b570/580 are only for those who have high end CPU of latest generation, otherwise they’re terrible choice, and any other card will beat it.

I bought my RX 6800, used 2 years ago for $330 USD, and paired with a 7700X, and haven’t look back since. It’s an amazing card.

is the a770 good for a budget build
I was eyeing to get RX 6600 for my new ITX build but shop I do business with sold all them out and no current inventory for them. RX 7600 goes around 300ish mark same with B570 (dang you VAT), I was then looking also 3050 6gb… but Intel Arc A750 is same price while B570 goes same price range as RX 7600 in here. Yes, A750 is old card but drivers are matured a lot. At current price point here being 230 with VAT is 80 less than B570 or RX 7600. 3050 is around 210 (staring point from 6 GB version to 280 at 8 GB version) and 3060’s are 300 to 340 range… I bought the A750 after all most it will do is 1080P gaming and 4K video watching… and I never had Intel card before. Sure it Draws more power than 3050, but… I can build rest my build now around A750 including power supply and Case next as GPU is one of the harder aspect in Itx projects.

I have an i7 10700k cpu … but i want like mid end and i was looking to possibly switch to amd since nvidia is like .. always terrible stock and pricing lol. I have no idea about AMD though.. which would you recommend for a big upgrade and for a decent price? TIA
