  1. Do you have a boring tool? Awl i think it’s called. That and a supply of dowels for wooden nails can help you build when you haven’t a drill or nails for building. Care to share your knowledge, or questions that would cause me to think of things I might not have thought of? Feel free, I’m listening, teach me.

  2. Watch how to videos, how to build, how to fix, how to grow, how to listen how to speak how to trade, things you’ll need when shtf. Try things when you go camping. Nothing fails quicker than watching but no one hand experience. So try the things you learn before you need them.

  3. Rubber door wedges and dowel rods that fit the runners of sliding doors and windows. Perfect inexpensive security. Shutters are also a good item to get for windows for security a little but more for protecting the glass in your windows from storm conditions. Things flying around that easily break glass even a tiny pebble can bust a storm window if it hits it hard enough in a tornado type of wind.

  4. If the grid goes down how will use a vacuum sealer?
