bask seems a little fishy, almost too good to be true, anyone know any downsides??

  3. @user-im1wn3pv3l April 24, 2025 at 7:27 am

I watched this whole thing twice and I’m still confused…if I just want to put away minimum $1000 and continue with small amounts ($50–$200) then which would be the best for me? This video was very helpful but I still don’t understand which would be the best for me in my current situation.

  4. Well done, great financial literacy given 👏 details

  5. @JesusIsLord77788 April 24, 2025 at 7:28 am

    Jenius Bank is solid!!

  6. Rates just dropped again. Jenius is now at 4.20 down from 4.50. Feels like a bait and switch company

  7. Why is Bask Bank not included in the linked site?

  8. @atthespeedoflife2150 April 24, 2025 at 7:31 am

If it was 4% a month then yes. But whats 400 dollars a year thats nothing these days.

  9. So what if you just opened a Sofi account 4 days ago? 🫠

  10. All good stuff no fluf. Subscribed.

  11. I love Mr. Magic Lamp. Sometimes I call Mr. Magic Lamp at home, and then hang up when he answers. Vincent, do you see an stark drop coming for HYSA accounts given how badly Trump wishes the Fed to lower rates? At which point will it become more advantageous to utilize a TIPS ladder over HYSA?

  12. CIT has been great for me. 4.30% I wonder why Vincent did not bring up CIT with one of the highest rates at 4.3.

  13. thank you for this video!

  14. Do you have a bask referral link?

  15. You forgot to mention to check out your local credit union

  16. 3.75% with apple savings account and uses the money from Daily Cash back %

  17. thoughts on amex and capital one HYSA?

  18. On a scale of 1-10 how is discover? 4.1 seems good?

  19. @investingissimple1642 April 24, 2025 at 7:44 am

Banks paying 0.01% interest should be illegal. At this point, they should just send us a ‘thank you’ note for letting them use our money for free!

  20. @MarvinoWilson-x5s April 24, 2025 at 7:45 am

w video this help me alotttt.

  21. @GlowySweetFabulous April 24, 2025 at 7:46 am

Because of your last HYSA video I opened one with Bask Bank. It’s crazy no one tells you the things because I would have opened one years ago.

  22. love this channel, let’s get him to 1M subscribers 🤗

  23. @thomaschadwick4699 April 24, 2025 at 7:48 am

AlumniFI Credit Union high yield savings starting at 4.25% up to 4.75% for $100000. Membership fee..$5.00 if yu live in Michigan or $10.00 in another state.

  24. @SlightlyEmbearrassed April 24, 2025 at 7:50 am

With Laurel Road could I start using the HYSA and apply for their checking on a later date? I’ve told myself i want to get a HYSA but never pull the trigger on actually starting one for whatever reason.

  25. History has a way of repeating itself, and the need to prepare is more urgent than ever. Investing will surely be the best financial decisions you make. I began my journey in 2020, and it’s been the best choice I’ve made for my finances.

  26. @jeremyhubaker1199 April 24, 2025 at 7:53 am

So basically Sofi is garbage. Because i want just the savings account and i want the 4 percent and if i don’t get that then what’s the point

  27. @thinkbigandlaughalittle April 24, 2025 at 7:54 am

Valley Bank is down at 4.30 now.

  28. @wendypalafox2480 April 24, 2025 at 7:55 am

What’s your guys take on CD accounts? Citibank is currently offering 4.35% APY For 8 month CD account. Anyone tried it?

  29. Robinhood gold has a 4% APY with any invested cash. Have been using it for growth and still have the ability to to invest in stocks or etfs.

  30. @RobertDonald0172 April 24, 2025 at 7:57 am

I Hit $32,590 today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last week. i started with 5k in last week 2025…. now i just hit $32,590

  31. @asmrjeweler9237 April 24, 2025 at 7:57 am

3 banks with better rates: CFG community, Open Bank, Vio bank

  32. Would really love to see a video on Zynlo bank seems really cool but can’t find enough info on it

  33. Loving my Bask HYSA. It’s exactly what I needed and it’s really easy to transfer funds in. Just hope they don’t keep lowering the rate as I initially created it at 4.5 APY lol

  34. T y 😊

  35. PayPal people. PayPal has a checking and savings account that so worth having. 4%apy for money in your savings and a checking that uses a debit card that gives you 5% cash back in your category of choice. That could be groceries, but I use it for gas. And it’s a debit card. Even if you don’t run it as your main account I have one set up mostly for the debit card, but it’s also the highest interest savings account. I have as well.

  36. @IbrahimKone-ix4qi April 24, 2025 at 8:04 am

I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 385K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% annually in dividend returns. any good stock recommendation on great performing stocks will be appreciated….

  37. You do such an amazing job simplifying things! This was very helpful and organized. Thank you so much!

  38. Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the interest accrued would be higher than $435 at your $10k @ 4.35% example. In terms of simple interest, it’s correct but banks will do compounding interest so it’ll be slightly higher 😀

  39. i wonder if trump’s policies will affect these apy’s by next year

  40. It’s crazy how they have these great rates but there can be so many conditions attached to getting that rate. Feels a little dishonest. How do you feel about other cash equivalents?

  41. Question:
How do I retrieve money from my online bank savings account (let’s say Bask Bank)? Do I need to transfer to my local bank account? Will there be fees for that?

  42. So i’m wondering, does that mean I gotta make five thousand a month for the $300 bonus? Or could I just transfer money from my old account up to 5k and get the bonus?

  43. Discover Bank was promoted and mentioned a lot in 2024.

  44. DCU isn’t here?? Isn’t their rate over 5%

  45. What’s your opinion on leaving it in vanguard money market for interest ?

  46. Thank you for the info regarding the middle man banks, never knew that!

  47. Does anyone use Ally?

  48. is ally still good?

  49. Question – is it recommended to open a 2nd High Yield savings account with another bank?

  50. Laurel Road is 3.8% right now
