Parker Pens are honestly overrated. You can find pens that have wayyyy better writing experience for the same price or even less

Also some of the more expensive upfront pens, like Zenit, have repracable ink csrtrigaes or however tos called, which ends up being cheaper in the long run
The Parker’s are always expensive
If you’re left handed you spend a lot of time searching for a good pen. Traditional ballpoints as a class are pretty much out, unless you like smeared writing and an inky pinky. Jell pens can work well. I’m a big fan of Pilot roller ball pens. The ink dries quickly and is smear resistant. A fountain pen with a fine or an extra fine nib and an ink that dries quickly also works well. And believe me, the sky is the limit with fountain pen prices. You can get one that works well enough for a couple bucks, or you can spend thousands if that’s your thing.
Parker is the king of Pens be it fountain or ball point.

my mum once bought my elder brother a parker pen when he was in 6th grade, but she didnt give it to him, because she thought he’d lose it. but he found it and beggged for my mom to give it to him, and she did. and not even one day later he lost that pen worth around 6000rs, and this was also back in 2017 soo yeah 😭
