I buy the Great Value frozen fresh vegetables. I rinse them thoroughly ( you never know for sure 😬) then boil them. I saw this in the ingredients on the package of diced sweet potatoes. "This may contain traces of MILK & EGG." Why? I can not believe there is a reason for MILK & EGG to be in there. Rinse thoroughly your fresh frozen vegetables before you boil them. Can’t be too trusting with what is going on in 2024.
I look at the ingredients and where the product comes from. Quality before buying cheap ingredients. I do not buy something because it’s cheap, I buy for the health of the ingredients, like junk food.
U r great thank u
You need to have the time to spare to wait for the customer service counter. There’s always a line at our store. We buy meats at Aldi & break them up into smaller, single use pkgs when we get home. Make a list & stick to it to avoid impulse. It saves shopping time too.
Let me start with the fact that I am old. Confused now, I have had Ibotta for years. For some reason in the past year, I have ran into "no rewards" or complicating the process. I sent a message to ibotta, notifying them I bought several items on the list, no rewards. Ibotta claimed it was because Walmart partnered up with Ibotta so rewards are direct now. I am sure there’s a different set of rewards for online. Can you drive into this and educate me.
Great advice!!
❤
I always stop to watch your videos. I put fetch and I outta on my phone, but didn’t use the latter & don’t get to use the former. 🤷🏼♀️ 🤦🏼♀️ My caregiver shops for me, so there’s that. ❤
This is great advice
Thank you for the humor! I do pick up at Walmart or Sam’s on occasion because I think the $4 fee plus $5 tip is worth not having to walk for a mile inside the store. (I have trouble walking). Mostly, make a list and stick to it.
Always look down😅😊
All ima do is lol at the video cus I don’t feel like debating.
Yes, Matt, I would LOVE your take on Ibotta!
Always look at the bottom shelves first.
I wasn’t a fan of online grocery shopping until last year. I love doing this every now and then. Saves u money without impulse shopping. Great video.
FYI salaid kits often are drastically discounted when expiring
Be willing to do a little math or work? Before COVID and the egg prices went thru the roof, I was buying 2 cartons of 6 eggs at a time because it was cheaper than I could buy any 1 carton of a dozen, at our local "cheap" market. Also, take a look at what you’re paying the stores for: grating cheese, mixing cinnamon/sugar, removing chicken skins, etc. Some of those "conveniences" come with a hefty price tag and you can put the $ in your pocket instead if you’ll do the work yourself.
Hi. Please explain ibotta to us.
If shopping online it always costs more I dont drive so I need my groceries delivered so this is no good to me 😢
If you have a mixer with a grinder the best way to get minced meat is to mince your own. I use the calculator on my phone when using a 5 of 35 copen.
I tried, kroger ( fry’s ) took my scallop away from me, they said they can’t sell, trash. Sellby date was that same day. And they rather trash then giving lower discount.
Got to dollas tres save Good $$$$$$
Ranch rover
Bulk is great and cuts back on plastic waste when buying larger containers but I feel bad when I have to throw out a half-used product when it reaches the expiry date
Owner of a stop and shop here. Dairy is not in the back due to strategy shopping. It’s easier to restock and preferred to have the fridges near a wall and not right in the middle. There’s stop and shops with small fridges near the cashier that have milk for the quick and go shoppers. Conclusion False and I’m rich
0:15 I don’t understand how right-handedness has to do with anything. Being left-handed makes no different when you’re looking at whatever item on whatever shelf. Unfortunately he didn’t elaborate on this.
What was common sense before zoomers in now a "hack". Just too funny…and sad😢
People have been asking me for months to make a video on how to save money on groceries during these times of inflation, so if you enjoyed this video, please give it a THUMBS UP as it helps me in the YouTube algorithm! 😀 What are some of your grocery shopping secrets and hacks?? Comment Below 👇
Use Generic Tomato soup instead of expensive Ragi or Prego n use kidney beans for chili n u can also use V-8 instead of sUce
Wednesday used to be a senior citizen day at every store with lots of discounted groceries.
Love these grocery hacks to save money. More please!
Good
Great video. Thanks. New sub.
I don’t feel that’s true with tuna if you compare a can to a pack the pack has more tuna because the can is half water..
Rich people will keep saving money with these tips and stay rich, poor people will be beaten to the store and will remain poor. Maybe instead of YouTube you can go to the homeless shelters and teach this class and show them how to do it without a car? That would benefit everyone.
Amazing nice video
Your advice is great, however, I don’t agree with getting those credit cards.
Their interest rates, late fees, and so on are insane.
Pay your cc in full, make sure the interest rate is low, and if you can’t pay in full, pay MORE THAN THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT every week. If you don’t have the money in the bank to cover the cost, you should not use the card. Be responsible, it’s your money. Just a different opinion.
You’re so funny!
Really like your content but one correction re major grocery pickup for free – Publix uses Instacart for pickup or what they call ‘curbside’. Gotta keep squeezing consumers somehow lol
Saving is a job. 😊
Canned tuna is not the same as packaged tuna and doesn’t taste the same.
For years I was wondering why strawberries never taste the way I remember them as a kid. Then I tried organic. The difference boggles the mind.
I online grocery shop, pick-up, and always come in under budget 🙂
Live in Canada…3 times the price on virtually everything!!
The difference you spend in gas, so you are not saving anything.
Just googled and no Aldi in Utah =(
Ibotta stiffed me.
Where is the website to see what fruits and veggies has pesticides every year so don’t need by organic?
