Just came back from Costco tire center. Wanted my winter tires installed. They refused to do so because, they said, the rubber was "cracked" and dry, it would leak air. Now, my tires are Nokian, top of the line, they have gone trough one winter, 2500 miles. The gum being very tender to give top adherence in minus 25 degree weather does wear faster on the edges. The incompetent manager told me a bs story. I’m going to have my tires installed at a real tire shop.

For price adjustments you do need a receipt. Returned something to a warehouse and without a receipt, they would not give it to me. They told me they needed to mark it on the receipt so I wouldn’t try to adjust the price again. They had to mark it in their paper binder. WTF?! Yes, they found my purchase online in their records. I thought that was just dumb, needing both paper and online records. Maybe this has changed recently, but it has never worked for me without a receipt. 👎🏽

Pro Costco Meat Department tip. Usually Costco doesnt end the price with 97 or .00 for Meat Markdowns. Sometimes you will see an M over the price that means the price was manually changed. Usually means it was marked down that day. Also. If you see ground beef with an R over the price often that grind had steaks that went out of date that day thrown into it

How would they refund the sale difference without a receipt if they have no proof of purchase and the date it was allegedly purchased?
So, to give more insight and you can edit video to be more accurate, the date on the bottom is important. That’s when the price was set for that item. So if the item is like you called it manager special coz they want to get rid of it, it is more than 7 days old price you can ask for a lower price and they will lower it 90% of the time.
Ppl still think these price tags things are a secret? People have been making videos of them for a while now
