I have a Marshall’s and TJ Maxx, we are rural and have a good selection, but not a lot of high end stuff.
I find pricing errors a lot.
Bedding has gone down hill. It’s all polyester and tencel and not enough 100% cotton that is not sateen.
“Runway” shopping has been my thing for 20+ years up here in Massachusetts. We have several in and out of Boston.

We in UK have very bad service in TK-max ,they are mostly impolite and rude , you are like in US service is so high .
I think I’ll continue to shop at small, locally owned boutique stores. Maybe a bit (or a lot) more expensive, but far cleaner, far less chaos, more actual customer service, and I won’t be purchasing something that 50,000 of my closest friends bought too!

How is it that the video footage shows tjmax stores so clean and tidy? All of the tjmax/marshall’s and Ross and Burlington stores in Arizona look like a bomb went off…even at 8am when the stores first open? Yuck!

Target also offers deals on weekdays. TIP: scan the barcode with the Target app, add to your cart, and the price often drops. Then show it to the cashier to adjust at check-out. Another mom I met at Target taught me this trick and it worked when I tried it! I got deals on kids clothes and home goods by doing this.

The runway sections probably aren’t in the big cities because of shoplifting issues.
Tjx card holders also gets rewards back for every dollar we spend in any of their stores, which lowers your prices even more.
I dont care if I pay a few dollars more for an item at TJMaxx vs Amazon. I want to touch the item, and try it on. It’s worth the few dollar difference to me.

True about compare price but often the original tags are still on the item. Look for that, I’ve been shocked by the savings.
Yeah, but funding Amazon, when all of a sudden, they added fees every month saying they’re going. I’m going to intercept with commercials and also never getting anything. Even then, within days, the whole point of having prime yeah, you may save a couple bucks, but you’ll be waiting way longer to get it😮🙄

1) If something is marked as clearance you will not be able to haggle for a lower price as it is already marked down.
2) TJ Maxx gets trucks of freight 5 days a week and 7 days a week during the Christmas season
3) the reason you may see identical items with two different prices is because they received those items in two different months and made a different deal with that same company each month and the pricing will reflect that.
4) when you have identical items and one is marked as clearance and the other is not, it is because the item that is marked clearance has been in the store for a longer period of time NOT because it is an error. The only exception to this is that it is possible that the regular priced item missed its markdown scan and you can ask the cashier to check this at the register.

TJMaxx and Marshall’s are a great deal for pet products, especially cat towers. 👍
I have Never been able to haggle for a lower price on any clearance item. They will not go any lower, they tell you that’s why it’s on clearance. If it doesn’t have a clearance tag and you find a defect they will only give you 10%. I have had these experiences multiple times. Marshall’s is the same way, it would be great though if they did.

Massachusetts TJ Maxx has a Runway section at the location in downtown Boston (train stop: Downtown Crossing) on Washington Street. There’s a Marshall’s and Homegood’s on the same block.
